Anopol completes acquisition of Poligrat UK Limited

Anopol, the UK’s market leader in electropolishing and chemical surface treatment processes, announced it has acquired Poligrat UK Limited. For over 60 years Poligrat has specialised in the development, production and application of processes for metal surface finishing from its plant based in Aldershot, Hampshire. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Anopol operates from ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited facilities in Birmingham, West Midlands and Bordon, Hampshire and specialises in electropolishing, pickling, passivation and other surface treatment processes of stainless steels and other metals.

The acquisition continues to grow Anopol’s ability to serve clients throughout the UK manufacturing sector with additional highly specialist industry and technical domain skills. It also provides a broader client base.
